Where Does Your Garden Grow

It's no secret I am a garden fanatic on SL - Mostly because I am a plant murderer in RL. *Hangs head in shame* So when I can I love to create a garden full of peace and serenity where I can kick back and drink a cold glass of lemonade and reflect on my day. I made this garden with just that in mind.. Peace and Bliss. I hope you enjoy my garden as much as I enjoyed making it. Sail Away

There are so many things to love about the beach.. The sounds of the waves crashing against the shore, the smell of salt lingering in the air.. even the cries of the seagulls searching for their next meal. By far my favorite place on this earth is at the ocean. My last project on the family land was designing a bathroom for my daughter, and her favorite theme is The Little Mermaid. While making the bathroom for her it really got me in the mood to make a beach hut, and what better time to do it then when Summerfest '15 is happening?! So when I was all finished with her bathroom I headed back down to Summerfest '15 to and picked up.. well pretty much half of the event and brought it home. (Sorry for the overkill on the photo's but I was so pleased with the end result.) When I was finished I sat on my new back deck with a cold lemonade and closed my eyes and did just what I had been dying to do.. listen, smell, and feel.... * Photo Credits down below sub divided by Front of the Hut, Inside, and then in the back. Splish Splash

My daughter decided she wanted her own bathroom so we took one of the spare rooms and revamped it into a sea and beach theme. She is a little mermaid fanatic so when we came across the bathtub it pretty much rolled from there. Thank goodness for Summerfest '15 which just opened up!

Lazy Saturdays and New Beginnings

I never really considered blogging before. I certainly never felt I could live up to the potential of so many of the other truly amazing bloggers out there... but as I have been getting more time on my hands and going through the dreaded black hole of an inventory I started to create scenes I felt proud of. After much convincing by my amazing and supportive husband, beautiful daughter and out of the world parents.. I decided.. well what can it hurt really? To me there is nothing better then lazing about on the beach soaking up some sun and drinking an ice cold beer. Even when the world gets crazy and work is stacking up, sometimes you just need to take a little you time.
